I'm loving the war between the Apple iPhone and the Blackberry. It inspired this cartoon. I was trying to find a way to have the characters eating at a Pinkberry. Couldn't make it work.

Seems like that first love/first kiss could solve all the energy problems. A quick sketch for Illustration Friday's theme of "Electricity".

Can you afford an arm and a leg?

Another fun IDIOM to illustrate was arm and a leg. This was kinda tricky because this could easily become macabre. I decided to use mannequin parts.

Who are the best sports fans?

The play on words here is fans. The boys are holding paper fans as well as being real fans. Supposed to help kids understand multiple meanings.

Raining Cats and Dogs

This is another sketch from the IDIOMS project where I work. I really enjoyed trying to capture the cheesy news reporter. I have a very low regard for local news. They sell fear. Pure and simple. I watched a local news channel here in Los Angeles cover a high speed chase, they (get this now) actually broke for a commercial and came back to the chase. If that is not selling fear and sensationalism I don't know what is.
