Whew! Just made the deadline for the SCBWI contest. This month's them was Santa Who? Illustrate Santa as you have never seen him or her before. SCBWI is the Society For Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. The monthly illustration contests are open to members and non-members. It's fun and it helps keep me motivated to complete new illustrations.

making small changes to the blog really Kool I like the pencil concept just dropped by to see what was new.
Fun stuff and nicely drawn too. The only recommendation I have is to check some of effects work. The flying snow and the flames could have the negative space pushed a little more and add a little variation. I'm no effects guy though and the rest is spot on!
This Santa Claus is fantastic! In this way Santa Claus can't arrive late!! :)
